The time series data consist of 7 sets of trajectories for drifters which were released between 17th and 23rd September 1996. Each deployment used two drifters, one at a depth of 5m and another at 30m. The drifters were deployed off the coast of Cirkewwa. The measurements were made in connection with an oceanographic survey commissioned by Water Services Corporation with the intention of studying the hydrographic characteristics of this marine area for the purpose of a sewage outfall.

The dataset consists of 40 CTD profiles which were collected during 6 surveys in the period between 17th and 22nd September 1996. The stations covered an area of about 8km2 and included measurements of sea currents. The measurements were made in connection with an oceanographic survey commissioned by Water Services Corporation with the intention of studying the hydrographic characteristics of this marine area for the purpose of a sewage outfall.

The time series data consist of 4 sets of sub-surface sea currents which were collected at 10m depth in the same station during 4 deployments spanning the period between 29th May and 30th September 1996. The station was located off the coast of Cirkewwa. The measurements were made in connection with an oceanographic survey commissioned by Water Services Corporation with the intention of studying the hydrographic characteristics of this marine area for the purpose of a sewage outfall.
